RESPONSIBILITIES

Paul, as Lead Pastor, preaches and teaches through the Bible, and partners with the elders to shepherd the church and oversee all teaching that occurs at FBBC. He also provides guidance on day-to-day operations to the staff.

FAMILY

Paul met Jala through college ministry at Illinois State University, and they have been married since 2001. They have four crazy teenagers: Noah, Joshua, Asher, and Hannah, who keep life exciting as they juggle school, soccer, dance, music, football, and the Missouri S&T rocket design team. Jala has homeschooled the kids and now coordinates their education between homeschooling and dual enrollment at area schools while also serving as the part-time librarian at Saint Joseph Christian School. 

OTHER INTERESTS

Reading, running, grilling, spending time outdoors, ministering to college kids, eating ice cream, and enjoying a good cup of home-roasted coffee
