RESPONSIBILITIES

Chris coordinates and implements the ministry for children ages birth-6th grade, guiding children in developing an on-going relationship with God. This includes the Nursery, Sunday School, Kids Worship, AWANA, VBS, and Grand Oaks Children's Camp.

FAMILY

Chris married Steve, her high school sweetheart, in 1989. God has blessed them with three amazing children, Kayla (married in 2023 to Brandon,) Rachel (married in 2017 to Jay), and Jacob (married in 2020 to Annie,) who grew up serving in children’s ministry with their parents and continue to serve faithfully.

OTHER INTERESTS

Chris has been involved in Children's Camp with the St. Joseph Baptist Association since 2003 serving as a "Coach" and the last several years as Assistant Director. She is on the Grand Oaks Board, serves as a Trustee, and has partnered with area children's ministry directors since the creation of iServe in 2009. Chris loves spending time with her growing family. During the fall, she enjoys traveling and supporting Jacob's Midland University Warrior football team. She also enjoys playing basketball, tennis & swimming.
