Our strategy that we have adopted to accomplish this purpose can be seen in this graphic.
Basically this means that we have a process that we believe will help each person in our church become everything God has designed them to become.
We start be reaching people. This means that we care very much for people who have no tangible connection with God or His church and we work hard to help introduce them to God. In this process we are trying to help people discover abundant life as a follower of Jesus Christ. We hope that we can help them begin this process by getting involved in the church through regular worship services.
Next we want to teach people to become more like Jesus. We accomplish this by helping every person to get plugged into a small group and as they do that, helping them to grow through information (knowledge about Jesus) and transformation (changed behavior to live like Jesus).
Finally we want to help unleash every believer to use their gifts in service to God. We do this through our church’s equipping ministry. This ministry helps each person identify how God has specifically designed them and then helps them find an area of ministry that is specifically suited for them and their specific set of skills and gifts.
